As a Human Resources Manager, you will support the company’s strategic goals by cultivating a high-performance team culture. Manage all aspects of human resources administration and employee relations for the Mokena, IL and Tinley Park, IL facilities, as well as remote employees associated with these locations. Implement and oversee policies and programs related to recruitment, employment, organizational development, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and communications. Provide expert guidance and support to staff and operational teams in these areas.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure the staffing of qualified employees by managing the recruitment, interview, selection, and onboarding processes, including intern and co-op programs.
  • Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing questions and resolving work-related issues.
  • Lead the HR and reception teams at assigned locations by communicating expectations, planning and monitoring work, assessing results, and enforcing policies to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Administer salary and benefits plans, compile data, and generate regular reports.
  • Safeguard human resource records by managing and securely storing both physical and electronic files while maintaining employee confidentiality.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field. Masters a plus
  • Ten years HR generalist experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, HR systems, legal requirements, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and record-keeping
  • Ability to supervise and develop others and delegate duties as needed
  • Knowledge of multi-state and federal employment law, international employment law, compensation and benefits management, labor relations, immigration and mobility
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • High standards of professional ethics and business conduct
